Here, again just to show what I like, is a Triumph I built. A mix of '50s frame with '60 engine (which is itself a mix of various models and years). It's got cheep Japanese (Suzuki T-500) forks and wheels, and one of those $10 Russian tractor headlights. Taillight is off a German Bundeswehr (army) Maico, I think, and was a gift. Rear fender is one of those nice HD ones that people throw away to fit "fatbob" fenders. The front is of unknown origin. Gas tank from a '60s model and DIY oil tank. Wheels were trued and powder coated (brake drums & bearing holes masked) and most of the other chassis stuff is powder coated too. Pic taken in the garden during routine maintenance. You can just make out the frying pan for boiling chain lube... Unfortunately it's hard to make out the neat ribbed primary cover (period US aftermarket) and full-flow oil filter. And here's the other side. The exhaust pipes were made from the ladder handrails of my neighbor's swimming pool when he got tired of cleaning it and filled it in. He put the remains out for the scrap man, and I scrounged materials for a set of free stainless pipes. The cheep forks ($62.50 for forks, both wheels and even a swing arm with shocks; not used here, though) got two short pieces of polished swimming pool ladder tubing on the upper part to disguise the pitting.

Nothing to do with Indians, as I said, but the principle applies there too...
