February 2001 New Zealand. Still time to make arrangements! Read the article in the December VI! In early Feb 2001 the NZ Classic Racing Register of NZ are holding their annual classic racing weekend. This is the largest classic race meet in NZ. Each year we celebrate a different make of bike and 2001 being the 100 years of Indian, Indian is it. I would like to invite anyone who is prepared to bring there Indian downunder. I have a few Americans real keen to come down. The event is open to any make of classic race bike and I would love to get some racing Harleys from the 30's and 40's as there are none from this period down here racing, and it would be great to race our Indians with them. I will help out wherever I can to assist you while you are here in NZ and may even be able to slip you a few dollars. We will also have a large display of Indians and hopefully Burt Munro's World beating bike on display. And something which not to many people have seen racing, a 1912 8 valve, and boy is it fast.  Also a Daytona being restored now hopefully will be on the track plus our 741 based racers and my Sport Scout. The weekend after is our Indian club's annual rally, not far from the race meet so there will be plenty to do and see while you are here. If you would like more info please contact me. If you know of anyone who would be interested or I could send an invite to let me know. You can post this on any other lists that you think may help. Thank You. Regards Paul Hanes.
