Matt's lifts are done. Regular price $250/set. Special price for VI Listers $200/set. More info on cams/lifts here.

September 2000. Matt Wilkinson's Bonneville Sport Scout valve lifts will be ready for the Chesapeake AMCA Chapter meet in Chester PA October 6. These exhaust lifts (Bonne Scouts use regular inlets) fit Sport Scout, 741 and 101, and the price will be $200-250 per pair. Nine out of the initial ten sets are still available.
August 2000. Jim Wall reports that the "tall fin" racing heads (Sport Scout) are making some progress. Casting fins isn't easy, even for pro foundries, and there has been some problems with release from the molds. It seems the problems will be solved soon, so stay tuned.
June 2000. Sorry, nothing new this time! (so much for "...every issue", huh?). Let's hope for a bit more time for next issue.
May 2000. There hasn't been a lot of news in this department since last month. But this page will go in the magazine with updates in every issue. There's new readers finding us all the time, and some may find it hard in the beginning searching through the archives.

The Scout racing heads will have an update next month, and possibly some of the other parts as well.

Remember, if you are interested in any of the parts below, write me and say so. The only way some of them will get made is if we can show the manufacturer that there is serious interest in them. In other cases (the Scout valve lifts) only a fixed size batch is being made, and if you need a set, you'd better say so before they're sold out!

April 2000. 2 months ago I wrote about how ganging up to get new parts made would be a good idea (well, to me it is, at least). There has been some positive feedback, so let's give it a go!

The BC is not about getting parts made by the lowest bidder (quality costs money!), but about giving prospective manufacturers an initial handful of orders, to make reasonably sure they can sell the first batch of the new parts. For this reason, there could be non-refundable deposits involved (as in the case of the frames & forks below) while other manufacturers will be satisfied with just an indication of interest.

Another way of using the BC is to dream up requests for new parts, post them on this page, and see if a prospective manufacturer pops up with an offer...

I guess there's no real need to explain this further, so let's get to the parts!

Tell us what you've got
and/or consider using the
VI Buyers' Club to sell your parts online to the
Indian Enthusiasts of the World!

OK, so there isn't really a
VI Buyers' Club Online Shop
yet, but if enough parts manufacturers and enough buyers want it, I can make one....

Any comments?
